Nature of Content
All content on this website represents independent academic research by Burak Oktenli. Any institutional affiliations referenced elsewhere on the site are provided for identification only; no institutional endorsement or sponsorship is implied. The governance frameworks, simulations, hardware platform designs, and technical specifications presented here are self-assessed research artifacts generally at approximately TRL 2 to 4, with maturity varying by artifact. They are not operational systems, commercial products, or fielded military capabilities.
Intellectual Property
The AUTHREX governance architectures are the subject of eight U.S. provisional patent applications: seven covering the architectures (HMAA, CARA, SATA, FLAME, ADARA, MAIVA, ERAM) and an eighth program provisional application covers evidence-bounded assertion control, bringing the reported filings to eight. Licenses vary by artifact, and the license displayed in the artifact package or in the corresponding catalog entry controls. Zenodo deposits are published under the CC BY 4.0 International license stated on each record. SSRN postings are governed by SSRN’s terms and each record’s own notice. Simulation source code, software packages, and hardware design documents carry the license stated in their own artifact records. The AUTHREX Governance Kernel remains under license review while counsel review is pending; no evaluation or redistribution rights to it are granted unless explicitly stated in the artifact package. Where a license permits, you may share and adapt the published materials with appropriate attribution. Attribution must name the AUTHREX Research Program and the author and must not state or imply endorsement, co-authorship, or affiliation; published figures must be reproduced with their stated qualifications and must not be presented as independent validation.
Patents pending. The methods described on this site are the subject of the eight U.S. provisional patent applications listed above, which establish filing dates under 35 U.S.C. 111(b). No license under any patent or patent application is granted by the CC BY 4.0 license on this site’s content or on any deposit: the Creative Commons license expressly excludes patent rights (CC BY 4.0, Section 2(b)(2)), and any use of the claimed methods beyond the published documentation is at the user’s own risk pending examination.
Marks. AUTHREX, AUTHREX Systems, the framework names SATA, HMAA, ADARA, MAIVA, FLAME, CARA and ERAM, and the BLADE designation are used as marks of the AUTHREX Research Program to identify its work. No federal registration is claimed unless stated. They may be used to refer to the program’s work and may not be used to name derivative products or services, or in a way that suggests origin from, or endorsement by, the program.
Rights in technical data. For government readers: everything published on this site and in the public deposits is publicly available and is not asserted as limited-rights or restricted-rights technical data. The AUTHREX Governance Kernel source, unpublished design files, unpublished test records and unpublished evaluation data are withheld from publication and are not part of any public release. Any delivery of withheld material to a government customer would be made under a negotiated license or under the data-rights provisions applicable to the funding instrument, with the corresponding legends (for example DFARS 252.227-7013, 252.227-7014 or 252.227-7018) applied at delivery. Nothing on this site should be read as a waiver of rights in withheld material.
Public disclosure as record. The dated deposits and filings listed in the catalog constitute a public record of the program’s disclosures. They are cited as prior art against any later claim to the same methods by any party.
No Operational Guidance
Nothing on this website constitutes operational guidance, weapons system documentation, or instructions for deploying autonomous systems. The simulations demonstrate governance concepts in a browser environment and do not interface with any real sensors, effectors, or weapons platforms.
No Government Affiliation
AUTHREX Systems is an independent research program. No affiliation with the U.S. Department of Defense, DARPA, NASA, or any government agency is claimed or implied. References to DoD directives, MIL-STDs, and NIST frameworks are for standards alignment purposes only. References to agency evaluation records, such as Broad Agency Announcement evaluation outcomes, are factual records only and do not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.
Accuracy
While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information presented, this research, aside from two peer-reviewed journal articles in the technical corpus (Journal of Hardware and Systems Security, Springer Nature, 2026), has not undergone independent peer review or government certification. Data, specifications, and performance measurements are based on simulation environments and may not reflect real-world conditions.
